Creswell Grove Verge Cutting
Published: 04 December 2019
The Parish Council are aware of residents concerns about the frequency and quality of these cuts.
As such, they have decided – like many other villages in Staffordshire – to take this task on at Parish level and quotations are currently being obtained from contractors.
It is expected that verges will be cut approximately once a month between March and October and we hope this will improve the service seen by residents.
We were disappointed that Wilkes Wood Service Road was “missed” by the County Council contractors for most of the year but pleased that our perseverance resulted in the final cut tidying up the area for the winter months.
Thanks to all residents who have been mowing their own verges and we encourage those who wish to continue to do so.
