Please be aware that full details of planning applications are available from Stafford Borough Councils website - they also determine the applications as they are the planning authority.

It has been brought to our attention that many house buyers in the area are unaware of changes that have been approved in the local plan for Stafford. This includes up to 3000 homes between Beaconside, A34, along to the B5066 - the local plan has been developed over a period of many years and was finally adopted after a full examination in June 2014.

Application for 700 houses, Primary School, elderly living facility and local shops - 16/24595/OUT
This has been submitted in November 2016 and comprises of the area behind and to the side of the Taylor Wimpey site on Marston Grange. This is out for consultation during Sept 17 with a decision expected soon afterwards.

Creswell Grove field - Strawsons Development - 17/27028 and 17/27029

The outline application (OUT) applies for the whole site and lays out how this is expected to look - each part will be subject to full planning applications for the actual buildings

The full application (FUL) relates to specific plans for a petrol station, convenience store and drive through coffee shop.
